LEt’s Play this summer!

It’s the perfect time to pick up a new instrument or get inspired to play again. Now offering flexible summer scheduling for private piano lessons and guitar lessons. Make music a part of your summer vacation!

Our mission is to inspire excellence with a contemporary approach to instruction in an authentic and rewarding environment.

Our students learn to excel at their instrument and become confident expressing themselves. Music should ultimately be a rewarding experience that challenges us to bring our best to the world. Learning to communicate through sound on a deeply personal level can be a vital asset to our social and emotional well-being.

A fresh approach

Our program of instruction employs a proven curriculum that uses music and materials relevant to today’s students. Parents love that our system yields definitive results and allows for measurable student progress. You can be confident in your investment with our simple, straight forward approach.

professional mentors

Our faculty are local and national performers who hold graduate degrees in music. They work one-on-one with students, mentoring them to articulate and achieve their individual goals. Pride is placed on offering our musicians a sustainable livelihood and space to champion the next generation of artists.

Our curriculum takes advantage of the latest advances in music learning technology. We know the importance of engaging our students in lessons and providing them with tangible ways to connect with their practice. We want to partner with parents and enable them to follow students’ assignments on-the-go.

Four Lesson Starter Package

If you are a new student, we invite you to sign up for our Four-Lesson Starter Package. We have found that a month of lessons, rather than a single trial lesson, is the perfect initial commitment for new students. The Starter Package includes everything you need to get you going. After four lessons, you will have the opportunity to enroll in the remainder of the semester.

the Founders

Pamela Hatton and Christopher Hatton are the co-founders and will be leading the piano and keyboard faculty at the Erie School of Music. Combined, they bring over 30 years of experience as teachers and directors of independent music studios.

Pamela and Chris hold Doctoral of Musical Arts degrees in Piano Performance, while their musical history include classical and jazz performance, pedagogy and educational psychology, composition and theory, as well as training in healthy physiology for playing instruments.

If there’s a specific instrument you would like to learn, we’d love to hear about it as we are always expanding our curriculum.
